XPlode Football Training (Ages 10-20)

Are you ready to prepare like a pro?

Are you ready to use the same program CFL prospects have used to impress scouts at the CFL combine?

Are you ready to commit to a football training regime that saw 10 McDole Performance Systems’ athletes bring home a National Championship in 2008?

Are you ready to XPLODE?

Our goal at McDole Performance Systems is to have the biggest, strongest and fastest players at their positions. Our off-season program has produced those results!!

At the 2006 CFL Evaluation Camp, McDole Performance Systems’ Riley Clayton, weighing in over 300 lbs, set the Offensive Lineman rookie record with a vertical jump of 24.5”. McDole Performance athletes impressed again at the 2008 CFL evaluation camp. McDole Performance sent three athletes, all finishing in the top 20 in every testing category.

University of Manitoba Defensive Back Brady Browne made the biggest splash by finishing 3rd overall in the 40 yd dash with a time of 4.6 seconds, 4th in the vertical jump for defensive backs with a 32.5” vertical jump, and most impressively finishing 4th overall in the 225lb bench press by blasting through 27 reps at a bodyweight of 195lb. Teammate Terry Firr also had an impressive showing leading all receivers with 18 reps on the 225lb bench press test, as well as jumping 37.5”- good for third overall at the camp.

Based on training progressions of past McDole Performance Systems’ athletes, players can expect 40lb-60lb increases in their one-rep max bench press.

So how do we get these results? Certified strength and conditioning coaches oversee our football training camps with one goal in mind: TO GET YOU BIGGER, FASTER, and STRONGER!! McDole Performance sessions are not for the faint of heart; so, our athletes come ready to work and ready to improve. Athletic progression is measured by recording results which enables athletes to see how much stronger and faster they are getting each week.

Testing:

Off-season programming begins by testing all athletes. First, structural balance tests are administered on the upper and lower body. Second, athletes are put through our work capacity test.
